These are classic socks with an afterthought heel and decreased toe in sizes ladies 5-men’s 15. There is NO SHORT-ROWING! The design is specifically for Kiss fg-3 looms with 3 peg sliding ends. Another loom that can match gauge and be set up in the same manner may be used. The 3peg sliding ends are integral to the design. Gauge is 5 stitches/7.75 rows/“ using a #4 (worsted weight yarn) using American terms. Other places in the world, this may be sold as chunky, aran, 8 ply, or yarn to be knitted with 4-5mm needles. Pattern includes instructions on adjusting for imperfect row gauge but you must match stitch gauge. There’s a free video demonstrating the knitting process with emphasis on the toe and heel techniques. Look for it on my YouTube channel theanswerladyknits. Videos are also indexed on my website www.theanswerlady.com for easy access
Pattern is $5 as an instant download or free with a $20 purchase from my Ravelry store.
Use any sock-suitable #4 yarn that gets the gauge. Regia 8 ply is one excellent option.
This pattern assumes that the knitter knows how to knit, purl and cast already.
