Garment is knitted with 2 strands of A-1 tsumugi silk and 1 strand each of A-62 paper moire and A-32 silk mohair held together.

Pattern is a typical Japanese schematic chart, but with some English directions.

The pattern lists the needles used as:

US no. 6 or Japanese no. 11 or UK no. 5 (5.4mm)
US no. 10 1/2 or Japanese no. 14 or UK no. 2 (6.3mm)
US F or UK no. 8 or (4 mm.) crochet hook

Please note that for the smaller needle, US no. 6 does not match with the Japanese (no. 11) or UK (5.4mm) sizes given. This may be an error and it should be US no. 8.
