This is the pattern for a kite appliqué. I do have this pattern available for free on my website if you would prefer that option. The link is down below, but I’ve made it available for people to download as well for $1 on Ravelry.

I’ve used 8 ply cotton and a 3mm crochet hook but you can use different sizes depending on what you’re most comfortable with.

• 3 colours of cotton or wool, I used 8 ply wool which is light worsted in the US and double knit in the UK.

• A crochet hook, I used a 3mm hook.

• Scissors.

• Darning needle to weave in ends and stitch the bows and string to the kite.
