Potholders can be made with any natural/heat resistant yarn. Knitter will need approx 60 yards of EACH color for ONE potholder.

If making felted wool version, use larger/size 10 needles to allow for felting. Potholders may be made in cotton, which will require smaller (size 7 or 8) needles to create sufficiently dense version.

Pattern includes charts for both designs, using either checked or solid border. Written instructions are included as a guide to using charts only, the colorwork is not described in writing.
