Kiwi overalls are an adorable little pair of shorts with straps for the smallest ones, designed to be both comfortable and practical. The overalls are knitted in double moss stitch vertically, which makes them soft and stretchy while giving them a beautiful texture. They are perfect to wear on their own on warm days, or layered over tights and a bodysuit when it’s cooler. The overalls are shaped with short rows over the bum for a good fit, easy to put on, and the straps help keep them securely in place. The straps are sewn on, and the buttons are decorative only. The combination of Sunday and Alpakka Silke yarn makes the overalls silky soft against sensitive baby skin, while also allowing great freedom of movement for active little bodies. A timeless and versatile classic in any child’s wardrobe!
The overalls are knitted top-down. The straps are first picked up as a single strap on the back of the shorts, then split into two straps that are sewn onto the front.
