As the pandemic started, many people began resorting to in home hobbies, began walking more, and spending time with your immediate family became your full time job. Nothing new for me, especially with the knitting. All I could think to myself was “Yes, more time to knit” The only difference for me was that I was expecting a wee little baby girl who ended up making her appearance in late April of 2020. We named her Klara Maria. With all the time on my hands (as the 3 year old toddler was off to stay with grandparents), I decided to take a leap, and design my own sweater pattern. Before this, I had been mostly designing beanies, but said to myself summer is coming, and why not try to design a sweater pattern, since I always enjoy a good sweater knit. So without further ado, I decided to design this bottom up mirrored sweater. I say mirrored because the front and the back are made the exact same way, they mirror each other. At the end you put the sides together and add the brim of the sleeves and you’re done. It’s a quick knit because you are mostly working in stockinette stitch, which we all know is easy to do while watching your favourite Netflix show. Anyhow, that’s all from me, hope you enjoy it!
Loads of love,
Sandra
