This pattern is for a CSM (circular sock machine) , not hand-knitting.

This is a guideline pattern for making knee highs- thigh highs, for all different sizes. Recommended cylinders would be 72, 80, or 84, but can be done with smaller ones if making them for children sizes.

This is the hand-out pattern I give to people I teach, and has been very helpful for people to make knee highs even without taking my class.

I recommend Pat Fly, flydesigns/angora valley fibers, because her yarn goes through the machine like butter and is beautiful to boot. Win/win!! :D
