It’s cold in Loch Ness, so of course Knessie would be wearing a fair isle jumper at this time of year!

Knessie is knitted in the round from nose to tail, with short rows to create the curves. Her wee tam is crocheted, if you prefer you can leave the tam off, or make one from fabric. Only the colourwork section is charted.

The pattern requires 5 Miniballs in different colours, or about 50m of 4ply/fingering weight yarn in 5 different shades. The larger needles are used in the colourwork sections to avoid Knessie becoming too wasp-waisted.

Originally designed for Loch Ness Knit Fest 2017.

If you have any problems with this pattern or the yarn used please come along to the Wee County Yarns Ravelry group.
