Meet the Knight’s Honor Cowl, a cowl reminiscent of a helmet a knight would wear back in the medieval times. I wanted to incorporate the element of royalty and the chainmail armor element in this cowl, so I went with the linen stitch pattern, modified to include shaping to create the design. I went with Lion Brand Vel-luxe, a yarn I had tried a couple of years ago, but never was able to create something practical for wearing.

You will love crocheting this cowl as the stitch patterns, the softness of the yarn, and the picot edging I put on all come together in a cowl that is fit for a modern-day knight.
