This pattern features two Cowl patterns. These Cowls were featured for Knit 2 Together in Russellville, AR for the 2018 Yarn Crawl.

They can be made deeper in length, if desired. It was my purpose to use one skein of Oxley and one cowl had me having too much leftover yarn. If I were to make them of other yarn, I would make them deeper in length, perhaps 10”. If you wish to do this, it will take more yardage. At some point, I will make in another yarn and give a different yardage amount for that change.

Cowl #1 unblocked 22” x 7 ¾” blocked 28” x 9”
Cowl #2 unblocked 22” x 6 ¾” blocked 28” x 8”

MATERIALS
Any Dk weight yarn,
Samples used Oxley by Queensland Collection (50% Yak Down, 50% Merino Wool; 328 yards/100 grams):
Cowl #1, 170 yards
Cowl #2, 150 yards
Color #15 used for Samples
20” Circular needles, sizes 6 (4.00 mm), or size needed to obtain gauge
Yarn needle
Stitch marker
Pins for blocking

Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rnds = 4” in stockinette stitch.

Note: This Cowl is worked in the round, with right side facing at all times.
