Finally got around to working up a bucket hat for knitters!
The bucket hat is worked bottom up, starting at the brim and working up for the top. The linen stitch pattern is worked in the round for the entire piece with decreases made to shape the hat.

I chose the linen stitch because I wanted the final product to be more dense and also worked the yarn double to assist with this. Also I wanted this to be a ‘quick’ knit which I quickly learnt isn’t always possible with this but I think it’s worth it for the finish you get!

You will need to know circular knitting, linen stitch in the round, linen stitch flat (for the pocket), double decreases and chain stitch.

The sample is made with less than one ball of We Are Knitters Pima Cotton with the yarn held together (taken from the centre and outside) with the green and less than one ball of the pink.
