This remarkable little bag may look difficult to knit, but it’s really deceptively simple! I’ve included lots of little how-to hints and helpful tips in the pattern, so just follow the directions and you’ll be toting your new Knit Green Market Bag in no time!

From the pattern description:

This fabulous bag has a hundred uses: at the grocery store, the gym, the beach…anywhere you need a bag that is hard-wearing and great looking. Don’t be surprised if the bag elicits envious looks from your fellow shoppers as you strut through the farmers market. This unique Market Bag features a mitered circular base for extra stability, a super-stretchy stitch pattern to accommodate everything you need to carry, and stylish i-cord detailing on the rim and handle for a polished-looking finish.

When designing this bag, I thought about all the things that are important to me in a reusuable bag: I wanted a circular bag with width as well as depth, so I wouldn’t have to worry about my bread being squished by my oranges. I wanted a bag with great detailing and stylish edges, that looked handcrafted instead of handmade. I wanted to use several colors, so that the color combinations could be virtually endless. And I wanted a bag big enough to be versatile, with a little bit of Boho-chic for fun. And so, the Knit Green Market Bag was born!
