This PWYC model offers several pricing tiers, with the hope of making my patterns financially accessible to those who need it, while still being able to value my time and labour. As a low-income knitter myself, I have been able to learn and grow with my knitting thanks to the generosity of designers offering free or discounted patterns, and I am happy to pay that forward.

Use the codes below in order to pay the price listed after each. Choose whichever price works best for you!

KNITME2 - $6.00

KNITME1 - $7.00

NO CODE - $8.00

I’m so excited about this pattern, because not only does it allow me to casually show off my knitting skills at holiday parties, but it also helps me cut back on the amount of wrapping paper that I’m sending to the landfill. When you present it to someone, tell them to pass it on to someone else, or gift it back to you on the next occasion. Of course, there’s no judgement here if you love the bag too much to part with it, and ask for it back right away!

The pattern is suitable for any level of experience, and makes a gorgeous two-toned gift bag that will have your loved one squealing with excitement before they even see what’s inside. If you’ve never done colourwork, there are picture tutorials to help you every step of the way. It also includes instructions to make the removable insert out of poster board to give the bag a clean, structured look.

** ADDITIONAL NOTES**

This pattern uses a sheet of poster board and a short strip of velcro, both of which can be found at the dollar store. It requires access to a printer to print out the template for the insert.
