This is our first crochet pattern, a cute basket-bag crocheted with raffia. We hope this thing will be your favorite summer bag: lightweight but very durable

This bag is crocheted from separate elements that are gradually joined together: granny squares, circular elements that form the bag bottom, wooden handles and an additional long strap (optional). The bottom diameter 18-20 cm, total height of the bag 30-32 cm

You can use any ribbon raffia you like for crocheting this bag or raffia:

This raffia is very easy and pleasant to crochet with, the yarn glides well and doesn’t scratch your fingers

You need 375-400 m (410-437 y) of any ribbon raffia or 2 ISPIE\Ra-Ra Raffia rolls (1 roll - 250 m/273 y)
