Kniterator custom fit patterns

This pattern is available from kniterator.com for $5.00.

Kniterator is a raglan pattern generator that takes your measurements and gauge and generates a preview schematic and a full pattern with detailed instructions.

The latest version of Kniterator (January 2020) has even more #SizeInclusive features with customisable upper arm size and three body shaping options: straight, a-line or hourglass, and it also has a progress tracker that allows you to mark off rows or whole sections as you complete them. It currently supports crew-neck pullovers only, but v-necks and cardigans will be coming soon! You can access this version here.

The original Kniterator allows you to choose between crew neck or v-neck, cardigan or pullover, and you can opt to either knit the body straight or add shaping through the waist and hips. The shaping is a little simpler and there is no custom upper arm. You can access the original version here.

Kniterator is based on the “percentage system” as described by Elizabeth Zimmerman. Its core is the same as most other top-down raglan generators, but it also provides alternative necklines and takes row gauge into account to generate detailed instructions for body and sleeve shaping. It’s a great tool for those who want to knit a custom-fit sweater but feel intimidated by maths or nervous about improvising.
