Knitted bag of spring is a nice project for leftover yarn, that does not require more than small skeins of yarn and a few evenings of knitting. The bag can be used for everything from make-up, over your child’s hair clips to knitting essentials. Or as a little everyday clutch.

Despite the fine leaf pattern on the front of the bag, the bag is easy to knit, and this pattern contains both a chart and a description of the leaf pattern round by round, so this project is for everybody.

The bag is knit with a small bottom piece to collect stitches around. This means that the bag is knitted in the round from the bottom up and therefore no sewing together. In addition to the leaf pattern, that is placed in the middle of the one long side, the bag consists of moss stitches, which extends all the way around as well as stockinette stitches towards the top of the bag.
