This pattern for a knitted bucket hat is a free video tutorial on YouTube.

It is (in my opinion) best knitted with a fluffy yarn combination and slightly smaller needles to create a dense fabric.
This project is a good opportunity to use up any left over balls of yarn that you may have.

In order for the hat to fit properly, I highly recommend knitting up a swatch and measuring your gauge in order to make your calculations as shown in the video.
