Pattern Description from One-Skein Wonders: 101 Yarn-Shop Favorites: “This hat is knitted from yarn that I hand-paint with acid dyes. Each skein has at least three colors or shades. The yarn is put up in 4-ounce skeins, and a single strand works out to 18 stitches per four inches on size US 7 needles. For this cap, the yarn is used doubled throughout.”

Measurements: Approximately 19” (48.5 cm) circumference

Yarn: Kaolin Designs RiverStone, 100% merino wool, 4 oz (113 g)/280 yds (256 m) (Note: Yarn is used doubled throughout.)
