MATERIALS and TOOLS you will need to knitting carrot:
- I used Yarn art Jeans yarn 1.76 oz (50g)/174 yds (159m), blend: 55% Cotton, 45% Acrylic. As an alternative, I used fluffy Mink yarn from China (with blue label, mink 95%, polyester 5%) 382.8 yds/1.76Oz (350m /50gramms) worked with two strands. You can use any suitable yarn with similar footage and properties for the specified size. The following yarn is also suitable: Natalya Savchenkova sosimpleknit.com page 2 • Drops Muscat 1.76 Oz (50 g) / 109 yds (100 m); • DROPS Paris 1.76 Oz (50 g) / 82 yds (75 m); • Schachenmayr Catania Originals 1.76 Oz (50g) / 136 Yds (125m); • Alize Cotton Gold 3.53 Oz (100g)/361 Yds (330m) For one carrot napkin ring, you will need about 0.35–0.53 Oz (10-15 grams) of yarn;
- Double pointed needles. I used US 2 (2,75mm) size Addi Crazy Trio needles. Choose knitting needles from 2.75 mm to 4 mm (US sizes 2–6) based on the specified knitting gauge and your yarn.
- Toy stuffing (holofiber, thinsulate etc.);
- Scissors, thin needle for sewing, steel crochet hook US 6 (1,6mm) (or your size according your yarn and gauge)
