One basic pattern with three different looks! First look is the cabled Cat Ears hat, or with just a little bit of decreasing you can have a cabled Beanie or by just knitting a few rows you can have earwarmers.

Stitches and techniques used are:
long tail cast on
knit
purl
Cables
three needle bind off
knit decreases and purl decreases
Lori’s stretchy bind off

Materials used are:
10 1/2 16” circular knitting needles
1 straight 10 1/2 needle for the three needle bind off
cable needle
1 skein worsted weight yarn (on the thicker side, Red Heart, Vanna’s Choice, etc.)
Stitch marker/row counter - not completely necessary but very helpful
