These are not your average, garden-variety rabbits! They are knit completely in the round on size US 8 double-pointed needles with wool yarn, then felted in your washing machine. Start at the bottom and knit your way to the top of the ears! No seams necessary! The only time you’ll get out your needle and thread is to close up the hole on the bottom after stuffing. Try your hand at different embroidery stitches for the Tapestry Rabbit … or hold a strand of wool together with a novelty yarn like Little Flowers for an “ivy-covered” rabbit like the Topiary. You could also use just plain, green yarn for the same effect. The 6-page pattern gives directions for knitting, felting and finishing. As always, send me an email if you run into any trouble spots! I hope you’ll enjoy them!
