These hearts are a quick make, they are knit sideways using garter stitch and shaped by increasing and decreasing stitches.

The hearts would make fun confetti, photo props or decorations. They could embellish knitted garments or accessories by sewing them on as an applique. The hearts themselves could also be embellished with buttons or smaller hearts!

Knit in DK weight yarn using 3.25mm/US 3 needles the hearts measure approximately 5cm/2in x 5cm/2in - make different sized hearts by altering the yarn weight.
