This pattern is available for free.

Sizes 32 (34-36, 38-40)“

Size changes are made by changing needle size and gauge.

You will require 7 ozs. of 3-ply crochet wool in a Natural color (N), 1 oz. in each of Red (R), Bottle Green (G), and Yellow (Y).
(Note from Sarah: I am working on the assumption this is Daphne 3 ply crochet wool from Lincoln Mills, which is a fingering weight yarn.)

Use a pair of No. 8 needles and a set of No. 11 needles if making to fit 38-40 inch chest
No. 9 needles for 34-36 inch
No. 10 needles for 32 inch.

Editor’s Note: In the “To Make Up” section of the pattern it mentions making buttonholes and sewing on buttons. It does not say how many buttons or give any specific instructions for their placement. The jumper in the photograph clearly has a zipper, not buttons, on the placket.

An accessible version of this pattern for vision impaired knitters that also has the charts written out in words is available here. It also has clarifications on the original pattern, including a second chart for the back of the jerkin.
