This cute lemon with leaves teether made from cotton yarn and an unfinished natural wooden ring and can be used for chewing while teething. They can also be a great car seat toy or baby shower gift for a new mom!

From the specified yarn and gauge, size of the teething ring is 6.3’’ x 1.97’’ (16 x 5.5 cm with wooden ring). For other yarns, the size of the finished teether may vary.

1. I used Alize Cotton Gold yarn 3.53 Oz (100g)/361 Yds (330m), blend: 55% Cotton, 45% Acrylic. You can use any suitable cotton yarn with similar footage and properties for the specified size. The following yarn is also suitable: • Drops Muscat 1.76 Oz (50 g) / 109 yds (100 m); • DROPS Paris 1.76 Oz (50 g) / 82 yds (75 m); • Schachenmayr Catania Originals 1.76 Oz (50g) / 136 Yds (125m); • Yarn art Jeans 1.76 oz (50g)/174 yds (159m).

Base lemon color — Alize Cotton Gold yarn, Lemon (668) color;
Second green color — Alize Cotton Gold yarn, Grass (126) color;
For one rattle toy, you will need about 0.5-1 Oz (15-30 grams) of yarn;

1. Addi Crazy Trio needles or needles with long lace (60 cm) for circular knitting. I used US 2 (2.75mm) size needles. Select a knitting needle size based on the specified knitting gauge and your yarn: from US 0 (1.75mm) to US 2 (3.0mm);
2. Wooden circle ring with diameter 2 ’’, scissors; needle, marker, stuffing (holofiber or thinsulate), squeaker for a baby teether (optional).
