This blanket is worked 12-18 rows per day. The colour of every
day should be changed according to the temperature of the day.
Each colour above has been assigned to a temperature range; this version should work well for anywhere within the UK using degrees Celsius.

It has been split so that you should end up with a similar number of rows in each colour. If you live in a different climate, you will need to adjust the range. E.g, if you live somewhere hotter, you may need to have larger ranges for each colour at lower temperatures, freeing up more colours to be used for each degree at higher temperatures. The reverse applies if you live somewhere cooler.

You could take a look at historic temperature data online for your
area for previous years to see what the usual highs and lows are,
and split your colours up accordingly; aim to have no more than 6
in any one colour.

Helpful websites include Accuweather, The Met Office and Visual
Crossing. Temperature data for your area can be found easily
online using websites such as those listed above, or better yet,
record it with your own thermometer at home; the sample blanket was made using the recorded max temperatures for each day in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom during the month of June, 2022.
