Knitted Monster Michael Wazowski
ichael Wazowski – Knitted Toy Inspired by Monsters, Inc.
Finished Size: approx. 9 inches (23 cm)
Difficulty Level: Easy
Let’s knit everyone’s favorite one-eyed monster from Monsters, Inc. – cheerful, green, and fun to make! This is a beginner-friendly project, perfect for those who want to create a soft and quirky toy.
You’ll Need:
Green yarn (main color) – small amount
White thin yarn (for the eye) – e.g., Angora RAM
Gray yarn – small amount
Knitting needles (4 mm or size to match yarn)
Crochet hook
Tapestry needle (wide eye)
Scissors
Toy stuffing
Doll eyes (or safety eyes)
Small pieces of black and white felt
Glue gun
Optional:
Thin wire
Strips of synthetic padding
Self-adhesive tape (for shaping legs or arms)
I used two strands of yarn held together for the body and arms to achieve the right texture and size.
Let your knitting bring Mike Wazowski to life — big eye, big smile, and all!
