This simple pattern includes instructions to knit a small and a large prayer cross.

The large cross measures approx. 20.5 cm long and 13.5 cm wide.
The small cross measures approx. 11.5 cm long and 8 cm wide (ideal size to fit in the palm of the hand).

Both crosses are knitted flat on straight needles and are quick to knit. Techniques include casting on, casting off, knit, purl and sewing the seams together. Both crosses are knitted in DK yarn and lightly stuffed with toy stuffing. You will need a tapestry needle and a set of 3 mm needles (a larger needle will give you a slightly larger cross).

These crosses have a lovely texture and are very popular with children!
