A light, airy triangle shawl with a touch of glamour — knit in one piece from two balls of sequin yarn, this shawl catches the light with every step. It’s a quick, affordable evening project: simple stitches, edge increases on every knit row, and a soft stretchy bind-off that keeps the edge from curling.

The finished shawl drapes beautifully over the shoulders and works as an evening wrap, a party shawl, or a sparkling handmade gift. Two fringe styles are included: a light yarn fringe (no extra tools beyond a crochet hook) and a more decorative beaded fringe for a true show-stopper.

Included in the PDF:

Fully written, step-by-step instructions with photos;
Video lessons for the trickier moments (Weaver’s knot, both fringe methods, sealing ends);
Materials & tools list;
Finished measurements;
US and metric units.

Materials:

Yarn: 2 balls of sequin/sparkle yarn — the sample is Lang Yarns Paillettes; any novelty yarn with similar yardage works;
Needles: 6 mm (US 10) circular;
Notions: stitch marker; for the beaded fringe — beading thread, a thin beading needle, seed beads and one large bead (optional).

Finished measurements:
Width 60 cm (23.6 in), length 66 cm (26 in).

Skill level: Beginner/Easy
Increases are worked at both edges on the knit rows — no chart required.
The bind-off is a stretchy, seamless method: knit the first two stitches together, return the new stitch to the left needle, and repeat.
Yarn ends are secured with a knot and sealed with a match so the edge never unravels.
Both fringe methods are fully written and covered in the video series.
