Knitted Silk Waistcoat
by Susan North
Charted (using Knit Visualizer) from an extant piece in the V&A museum (article #807-1904), this late 17th century waistcoast was charted by Susan North and supplemented with written details and over a dozen photos.
It does not include size options - only the chart and dimensions of the extant piece. The floral motif would make it difficult to resize.
The jacket is lined with linen fabric, with the lining cut and folded to allow 1 - 2” of stretching ease. Directions for the lining are not given.
