Pick your favorite color and knit this wardrobe staple you’ll reach for again and again. Then, knit another to embellish with embroidery - use the Knitterati Seal and Knit Love templates included in the pattern or any design that tells a story about your creative life. The Knitterati Cardy provides a blank slate to add your flair. With a choice between two length options and a polished folded button band, it serves as the perfect foundation for your creativity.

The pattern includes video tutorials for the folded button band and embroidery.

Knitterati Cardy is knit top-down with raglan shaping; short rows shape the back neck section before moving onto the yoke and V-neck shaping. A folded stockinette button band is worked.

US 6/4 mm and US 5/3.75 mm long circular needle and DPNs or circular needles for small circumference knitting, or size required to obtain gauge

8 stitch markers, tapestry needle
Waste yarn to work buttonholes and to hold sts (and/or stitch holders)
5 (8) 3/4”/19 mm or 4 (6) 1”/25 mm buttons to suit completed project
Optional for embroidery; soluble stabilizer, sharp knitters needle

GAUGE
20 sts and 28 rows/rounds = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round* and flat, with larger needles, blocked
22 sts and 28 rows/rounds = 4”/10 cm in ribbing in the round and flat, with smaller needles, blocked
