Leftover yarn is not “scrap” - it’s “knitty bits” - just waiting to be turned into something special.

For me this is the true joy of knitting - taking what some would consider waste and transforming it into something both useful and beautiful.

You;ll only need about 40m/44yds of the special yarn (CC) .

Use DK or Worsted for the MC (you’ll only need about 80m/88yds - or a bit more if you want longer cuffs).

Short-striping, handspun and variegated all work well for the CC.

Instructions are:

  • written and charted (so you can choose)
  • for flat or in the round (so you can choose which way you like to work)

Personally, I can no longer work small circles in the round, but even when I could, working flat always seemed to be quicker.
