To complete both the scarf & hat, you will need:
A pair of size 6 needles
One skein each (about 110 yards) of DK-weight yarn in two of your favorite colors
And a tapestry needle to sew up the hat as well as to sew in your loose ends

The hat can be knit in three sizes to fit three-, four-, or five-year-olds.
