Perfect to wear to your next outdoor knitting festival or event. Show the world you love to knit? Wear it on your head as well as your heart. The colors of this hat could be absolutely chosen around your favorite palette, a neutral palette would keep it classy, or change it up with something fun and bright for a more whimsical look. Charts from other patterns in this collection could be swapped out to make your hat one-of-a-kind. The eBook includes charts for the entire alphabet, so you’ve even got the option to play around and use your name, nickname or Ravelry moniker. No matter how you mix it up, this will be a hat admired by knitters everywhere you go – and the muggles might be completely unaware.

No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.“ -John Keating (quotes.net/mquote/22939; Dead Poets Society 1989; accessed May 01, 2020)

Note: This hat can be lengthened to a slouchy style by adding rows of plain knitting between charted rounds. All colorwork has been charted and is worked from the bottom of each word from right to left. Hat can be knit using 2-7 colors – Feel free to mix and match your word stripes to suit your color preferences. And check out the test knitter’s photos of all the Knitwords eBook projects on Ravelry for color inspiration.
