This pillow can be worked in a variety of colors or just two of your choice. Use it to decorate your family room, craft room or bed as a reminder of your love for the craft. Knit in the round and double sided, this pillow works up quickly in worsted weight yarn. The words and abbreviations will make an interesting conversation piece for knitters and muggles alike. Make one for yourself or knit it up as a gift for a friend.

True magic happens when we create with our hands and dream from our hearts. – Betsy Greer, Knitting for Good!: A Guide to Creating Personal, Social, and Political Change Stitch by Stitch Published November 11th 2008 by Roost Books

NOTE: Pattern is knit in the round and seamed on top and bottom.A knitter could use a provisional cast on to then graft the bottom seam. Two testers, who didn’t achieve row gauge opted to leave off the final word chart. One tester felted her pillow slightly to tighten up the stitches. This pillow is a great scrap yarn project. You can use as few as 2 or as many as 20 colors - feel free to mix and match your word stripes to suit your color preferences.

CHARTS: Colorwork charts are listed at the back of the pattern.
