Present to you a crochet PATTERN in ENGLISH. This is not finished item, this is instruction for crochet Knob tailed gecko. The toy is fully handmade, on the all photos is absolutely real physical object and absolutely equal to the written pattern.
This is very cute toy.

You will get PDF file including:

• Crochet gecko pattern WITHOUT SEWING and WITHOUT FRAME.
• Realistic eyes making. There are used handmade eyes. Plus instruction for sculpted eyelids.
• Painting instructions step by step. Please note that some of details are painted. You can see my gecko on the last photo without painting.
• Also you will get second file with text only. If you prefer print without photos, use it. Finished size is depends on chosen yarn. My sample is about 13 cm (5 inches) tall.

Pattern written in ENGLISH(USA terminology). Skill level is INTERMEDIATE.

Materials and tools.

•For this toy is used Alize Cotton Gold 180 yards (165 meters)/50 grams (1.76 Oz). This is just 50% cotton, for the best quality I recommend 100%.
•2 colors on example, all less then 50 gr: yellow an light pink.
IMPORTANT. The pattern is suitable only for crocheting in 2 colors for head, body and tail!
•Hook 1,25 mm or 1,5 mm depends on mark hook and style of your crocheting. Choose the hook for yourself. Crocheting should be very, very tight.
•Filler holofiber for stuffing. Tweezers also for stuffing. Sewing thick needle.
•Glass cabochons 16 mm in diameter. Acrylic paints and metallic acrylic paints for the eyes. Or ready eyes with suitable style.
•Soft pastel for painting on the body. The painting with soft pastel is very perfect for 100% cotton threads. I don’t recommend paint on the 100% acrylic yarn, and don’t recommend acrylic yarn exactly.
•Acrylic varnish for use with soft pastel. PVA glue for priming.
•Brushes for painting by pastel and acrylic paints, different sizes. Beige, dark brown and yellow proof liners for desired. You can use only soft pastel or any others paints as you prefer. Look instructions for decorating first.
•Baked polymer clay for making the eyes. Universal invisible glue, that not leave traces for the eyes. I recommend Moment Crystal by Henkel.
•For desired use varnish for the sculpt details. I use matte UV gel polish and UV lamp.
•IMPORTANT. Please, read whole pattern till the end for choose your way making this toy.
