Designed to replace that pillow that we side sleepers need to put between our legs to keep our bony knees from bumping together. The gauge with this yarn and needles provide a “sleeve” for an average circumference leg, but both can be changed for needed size.

The main body is knitted flat. The ribbing can also be knitted flat, but I prefer to join in the round on DPNs after the main body and avoid seaming.

It knits up surprisingly fast, once you get comfortable with the bobble stitches. Pleasant dreams!

NOTE: When casting off ribbing, be sure to cast off in K2/P2 to keep it stretchy.

NOTE: On 5/17/18, instructions to create a 24” 5-stitch i-cord to help keep the kneecap in place were added.
