CONSTRUCTION
Knopp pixie hat is knitted flat from side to side, beginning at the forehead and grafted together at the back of the head. An attached i-cord shapes the nape of the pixie hat and forms the ties. Knopp is knitted in a combination of broken rib stitch and garter stitch, making it stretchy in all directions, fitting little growing buds perfectly.
Knopp is the Swedish word for bud.
