“Knospen” is the German for “blossom” or more literally, “to bud”. These lace socks are knitted cuff-down with bud and branch motifs and a traditional heel flap and gusset.

1 skein of Nene 4 Ply (400m / 100g)

Sizes
Size M fits 19 – 21.5cm / 7.5 – 8.5” foot circumference (64 sts), Size L fits 21.5 – 24cm / 8.5 – 9.5” foot circumference (72 sts)

Gauge
36 sts & 50 rounds in stocking stitch makes a 10 cm / 4 inch square, measured in the round after blocking.

Needles
2mm, or size required to obtain gauge, 80 – 100cm (32 – 40”) circular needle, DPNs, or small circumference circular needle for preferred method of working in the round.
