The Knot Hole Tree shawl by Helen Stewart was created for Little Skein and is inspired by To Kill a Mockingbird, a timeless story of goodness, compassion and courage in the face of an often difficult and heartless world.

An elongated triangle shawl with lots of texture and gentle detail, the Knot Hole Tree is a deceptively straightforward knit. Easy, leafy lace, with simple cables representing the trunk of the tree, recreate in knitted fashion the mysterious and hopeful tree where Boo Radley stashed treasures for Scout and Jem to find.
