The Knot Today Cardigan Junior by woolfrentz is a cozy cardigan for the little ones. It can be tied with a bow and also works perfectly over a dress.
The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down. You start with the back, where German Short Rows create a perfect shoulder fit. From the cast-on edge, stitches are then picked up to shape the two front pieces individually. Clever increases form the characteristic V-neckline. The sleeves are created by picking up stitches along the armholes and knitting them in the round.
Finally, the ties are worked using the I-Cord technique and attached along the I-Cord edging – a functional detail with a touch of charm. You can choose how many ties you want to add: one, two, or even three.

Der Knot Today Cardigan Junior von woolfrentz ist eine kuschelige Strickjacke, für die Kleinen unter uns. Der Cardigan kann mit einer Schleife geschlossen werden und passt auch perfekt über ein Kleid.
Der Cardigan wird nahtlos von oben nach unten gestrickt. Begonnen wird mit dem Rückenteil, bei dem durch verkürzte Reihen (German Short Rows) eine optimale Schulterpassform erzielt wird. Anschließend werden aus dem Maschenanschlag Maschen
aufgenommen, um die beiden Vorderteile einzeln zu formen. Durch geschickte Zunahmen entsteht der charakteristische V-Ausschnitt. Die Ärmel entstehen, indem du entlang der Armausschnitte Maschen aufnimmst und sie dann in Runden strickst.
Zum Abschluss werden die Schleifen mithilfe der I-Cord-Technik gefertigt und entlang der I-Cord-Blende angenäht – für ein liebevolles Detail mit Funktion. Die Anzahl der Schleifen
kann variabel gewählt werden: eine, zwei oder gleich drei.
