Cotton is considered stronger to use for hanging things & it does not stretch as much as acrylic.

NOTE: There are several different places you can adjust the size of your stocking. This yardage is based on the size pictured/noted in this pattern.
➤Optional: A small amount of white fluffy yarn, such as Bernat Pipsqueak.
➤Hook: 5.0 mm
