Knots in boxes is a textured sock pattern intended to work well with variegated and solid/ tonal yarn. One tester has got a beautiful result with self striping yarn in light colours.

There are three sizes available, plus instructions for a new short row heel with a mini gusset. Of course that you can replace it with other heel if you prefer.

I used a contrasting colour for the cuffs/ heels/ toes but this is entirely up to you. There are no instructions for how to change the colours.

Sizes available: 60 - 66 - 72 st.

The pattern is written for top-down. If you prefer toe-up, then just use your usual sock recipe and insert the stitch pattern from Knots in boxes. It is a 6 st pattern repeat over 8 rounds.
