This design begins with a K1P1 rib that grows into a K2P2 rib before the main pattern begins.

The main body is worked over a multiple of 20 stitches. You may find it helpful to place markers every 10 stitches to keep track of when you switch from K2P2 rib to Double Moss stitch - a variation of K2P2.

The stretchy nature of this stitch pattern makes it feel like this capelet is giving you a nice warm hug on a cold day.
