Just took these out into the snow for the first time, and they were perfect, just the right amount of warmth while still being able to feel things through the wool.

I knit these up with US 2 needles to get a slightly looser fit, since that’s what I prefer with mittens, but feel free to experiment with gauge - this is a forgiving pattern!
