Knudedybet is the name of a gutter in the sea off the island of Fanoe. Knudedybet is a crescent symmetric shawl that will drape gracefully around the shoulders and keeps in place without a pin.

Work this shawl in one piece top down.

The pattern includes directions for knitting this shawl in small, medium or large. (Width at top edge: 135 (160, 185) centimeters, Height: 40 (52, 64) centimeters).

This pattern is written for a knitter who is able to, follow written instructions as well as follow a chart and work increases and decreases. (The directions is a combination of written instructions and charts).

This pattern calls for a yarn with a yardage of approximately 300 meters per 100 grams. The shawl pictured is worked in hand dyed 100% merino from Chester Wool Company (sport 300).
