Knytcardigan
The Knytcardigan is worked top-down in stockinette stitch. First, the upper back is knitted. Stitches are picked up at the shoulders and the right and left front pieces are worked with increases to shape the neckline. The work is joined under the arms, and the body is then knitted back and forth. The body is finished with a wide ribbing and an Italian bind-off. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up and worked in the round with decreases. The sleeves are also finished with a wide ribbing. Stitches for the neck ribbing are picked up along the neckline. The ties are worked in garter stitch over stitches picked up along the edges of the front pieces.
