This crochet pattern provides instructions to make a baby blanket with a very cute koala design, approximately 116 cm x 92 cm. Perfect for a baby or young child, it will keep them warm and snuggly!

The finished blanket is large enough to even be used as a lap blanket for an older child.

The pattern calls for DK yarn in seven colours (light blue, light green, dark green, grey, charcoal, dark blue, and white), and a 3.50 mm crochet hook, and uses the corner-to-corner technique (this is explained in detail in US terms). The specific pattern for the blanket is given as both a pixel graph, and as a written pattern, for those who prefer one over the other.

The amount of yarn required is as follows: approximately 1.5 x 100 g skeins of light blue and light green; 1 x 100 g skein of dark green, dark blue, and white; 3.5 x 100 g skeins of grey; and 0.25 x 100 g skein of charcoal.

The only additional material required is a darning needle, with which to weave in the ends.
