Koala Cuddle Blanket
Koala Cuddle Blanket machine knitting pattern to be used to make and donate blankets to burned native animals affected by the recent bushfires.
I highly recommend the Animal Rescue Craft Guild on facebook as a fantastic source of information for where to send items for native animals.
Please be mindful this is an 8 push button knitting machine pattern!
Knitted on Empisal KH-610.
Please refer to your own machine manual for instructions on similar carriage and machine settings.
Alternative yarn may be used, pattern includes a brief explanation on how to calculate gauge to suit your own machine.
Smaller blankets take very little yarn, larger ones may take almost a cone depending on your tension and pattern used.
Written explanation of how to do the settings and tuck stitch is provided.
Photos to show how to set the levers and carriage for the pattern sequence is provided.
Pattern Table is also included.
Crochet Edging suggestion:
Two rows of single crochet minimum to prevent curling. I find crocheting around all edges one way, then turning the work and going back around the other stops the rolling.
You can also add a decorative edging on top such as Shells.
Enjoy!
