Kokko Mini Beanie was born out of a love for simple, timeless design and beautiful yarns. This beanie is designed especially for fingering-weight, multicolored yarns—those where every shade can truly shine. The minimalist ribbing allows the yarn to live and breathe, highlighting its nuances without unnecessary details.

The design is inspired by the popular Kokko Beanie for adults, a beanie that has been a trusted everyday companion throughout the colder months. Its warmth comes from its structure: a four-layer folded brim combined with a double-layered body makes the hat surprisingly warm despite the lightweight yarn.

Kokko Mini Beanie carries the same idea into smaller sizes. It is worked in the round from the top down as a tube, which is then folded to create a double layer. This results in a neat, comfortable, and exceptionally warm finish. The hat begins with a magic ring, creating a clean and snug start at the crown.

This beanie is the perfect project when you want to let the yarn tell its story—one stitch at a time.
