This pot holder is not suitable for getting hot dishes straight from the oven unless extra padding is put in the middle before seaming. Instructions are given for wool yarn; dye will not work on synthetic fibers. DO NOT USE ACRYLIC! Synthetics will melt against a hot dish and burn the user!
